Linda

Linda's story began in a dumpster alongside her brother, Frank.

From the moment they were rescued, it was clear that Linda viewed the world differently. She was cautious, independent, and slow to trust. While other cats sought attention and affection, Linda preferred to watch from a distance and decide for herself who was worthy of her confidence.

For years, she kept most people at arm's length.

But there were two exceptions.

The first was her brother, Frank.

The bond between Linda and Frank has always been unbreakable. Wherever life took them, they faced it together. Even today, Linda remains fiercely devoted to her brother, watching over him in both obvious and subtle ways.

The second was Garfield.

From the day they met, Linda trusted him completely. While she remained cautious around people, she followed Garfield without hesitation. He became her friend, her guide, and eventually the cat she admired more than any other.

Over the years, that devotion never faded.

As Garfield grew older and his health began to fail, Linda stayed by his side. She escorted him to his food and water, guided him when he struggled, and watched over him with a dedication that never wavered. When Garfield needed help, Linda was there.

She did not do it because she had to.

She did it because that is who she is.

Linda taught me that loyalty is not measured by words. It is measured by actions repeated day after day, year after year.

She taught me that trust should be earned, not given away freely.
