Frank was found in a dumpster alongside his sister, Linda, when they were only a few weeks old. From the beginning, he faced challenges that would have stopped many others. Born cross-eyed, Frank never saw the world quite the same way as everyone else, but that never seemed to bother him.
If Garfield was the king of the house and Linda was the protector, Frank became the comedian, storyteller, and loyal friend.
Frank has always been the most vocal member of the family. He doesn't just meow—he carries on conversations. Whether he's announcing his arrival, demanding attention, or sharing his opinion on household events, Frank believes every thought deserves to be heard.
But behind the humor is a cat with a remarkably loyal heart.
While Garfield was my shadow, Frank chose my wife as his person. Through good days and difficult ones, Frank has remained by her side. His devotion is quiet but unwavering, proving that loyalty isn't always loud—it is simply being there when someone needs you.
Frank also taught me that everyone has strengths, even when they don't appear obvious at first. Despite his cross-eyed vision, he eventually became one of the household's most determined hunters. Every successful catch was proudly announced with what we came to call his "victory meow," a celebration that could be heard throughout the house.
Most of all, Frank reminds me that life doesn't have to be taken so seriously. Sometimes the best response to a difficult day is a conversation with a cat who has no idea what you're talking about but is happy to listen anyway.
Through his humor, loyalty, persistence, and endless commentary, Frank continues to teach one of life's simplest lessons:
The people who make us laugh are often the ones who help us carry life's heaviest moments.
